Mike A.'s Soy Ginger (GF) Marinade


  • 1/2 cup low sodium Tamari
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar you can use less
  • 1 scallion chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger more or less to taste
  • 2 large garlic cloves finely chopped, more or less to taste
  • fresh lime juice to taste, up to 1 lime
  • 1 tsp sriracha or red pepper paste or your choice optional


  • Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
  • Marinate fish no more than 1/2 hour.
  • Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.


Excellent on sword, tuna, halibut and salmon.  Great on meat too!  You can marinate overnight for chicken, pork or beef.
