Ingredients
- 16 large peeled and deveined shrimp, split
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp salt
- pinch thyme, basil, paprika, black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 6 oz Maine crabmeat
- melted butter or sherry
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Saute minced onion in butter until golden; add spices and blend with breadcrumbs, egg, and crabmeat; moisten with butter or sherry. Divide stuffing onto split open shrimp which have been placed on an oiled baking dish. Sprinkle with parsley and bake at 325 for 20 minutes.
