Ingredients
- 1 lb. farfalle pasta
- 1/2 lb. hot smoked salmon we used Fox Smoked Salmon
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. stone ground mustard
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper or to taste
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper or to taste
- 2 tbsp. shallots minced
- 2 tbsp. chives finely sliced
- 2 tbsp. red onion chopped
- 2 tsp. fresh dill minced
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook al dente. Drain, rinse with cold water. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Fold in the pasta, shallots, red onion, chives, and dill. Break salmon into chunks and add to bowl, mix gently. Refrigerate a few hours for best flavor or eat immediately.
