Grilled Tandoori Shrimp

Ingredients

lbs
shrimp
peeled & deveined, tail on or off
2-3

chopped cilantro
lime wedges for plating
wooden skewers
soaked
Marinade
2/3
cup
plain yogurt
1
tbsp
pressed garlic
1
tbsp
lime juice
1
tbsp
grated ginger
1
tbsp
garam masala
1
tsp
coriander
1
tsp
turmeric
1/4
tsp
cayenne, less or more to taste

olive oil

tsp
salt or to taste
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients of the marinade in a bowl. Stir to combine well. Add the shrimp and marinate for around 30 minutes.
Thread the shrimp onto the skewers and grill on both sides, until they are cooked and slightly charred on the surface, about 3 minutes a side.
Remove from the grill, garnish with chopped cilantro and serve immediately with lime wedge.
Notes
Serve with basmati rice or naan.
