Tangy Steamed Shrimp

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • melted butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 1/2 lbs raw shrimp ini shell
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Put celery, seasonings, wine, and water into a saucepan, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add shrimp, cover, and simmer 5 minutes longer. Remove the shrimp and save the stock for use in other shrimp recipes. Serve shrimp in the shell with melted butter for dipping.
