  1. In a small bowl, mash together avocado, olive oil from the canned sardines, lemon juice and zest, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
  2. Toast 2 slices of your preferred bread. Place mashed avocado mixture onto bread. Top with the sardines and a sprinkle of chili flakes if you enjoy an extra kick!
