Of all the resolutions we make, ‘eating healthy’ is probably number one. And working here, being surrounded by seafood, you would think that it’s easy to eat healthy. But, we are all human and it’s a real struggle sometimes to eat fish more than once a week. My own thought is that fish can get boring, IF you let it. At our demos on Fridays, and in our video recipes on Youtube, we try to introduce new fish and new recipes. I guess the resolution could be to try new seafood! Fish, especially in the mild, flaky category, lends itself to tasty seasoning. Cajun, French, Italian, Asian…so many awesome ways to go. Grilled, poached, baked, sautéed…so many cooking techniques. The resolution-revolution is to keep trying new fish, new ways, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a good old fashioned comfort food every one in a while, if that comfort food happens to be healthy for you, too!

This past year we have demo-ed: Monkfish Tail, Kampachi, Tautog, Opah, Bluefish, Hake, Pollock, Flounder, Grey Sole, Salmon, Scallops, and more.
