Oyster - Duxbury Bay


product Harvest Location - Grown in Duxbury Bay, MA where the water is generally colder then in Cape Cod Bay.
Grow Out Method - Grown from seed in a small mesh nursery bag.  As they grow they are moved to a larger mesh bag,  then to the bay bottom which produces the distinctive fluted shell.  After 2 -3 years of growth they are ready for market.
Flavor & Appearance - Duxbury Oysters are medium in size with green and white shells.  They have a deep cup with silky smooth meat, salty in flavor with a clean finish.
